Namib Naukluft National Park
A beautiful area, with the red dunes of Sossusvlei and Death Vlei as main attraction.
Caprivistrip
A green, fertile area with big rivers full of crocodiles and hippos. Here elephants and buffalos are walking across the highway!
The far south
Follow the scenic route along the Orange River, the frontier between South Africa and Namibia, and visit the Fish River Canyon. Or visit the ghost town of Kolmanskop, where time stood still.
Kaokoveld
The real wilderness area of Namibia! Visit the Himba people or the Epupa Falls in the far north.
Bushmenland
With the Kaudom National Park for the real adventurer in the east and the Waterberg plateau in the east, where you can hike among the wild animals.
Windhoek
Windhoek is a small, modern and clean city in the middle of the country. There are lots of shops and restaurants and the people are very nice. Visit the Namibia Arts and Craft Centre, where you cannot only buy souvenirs, but also can see how they manufacture them.
